Yes. I would want to raise Christian kids and she would want to raise Muslim kids. A friend of mine dated a Muslim women and it ended horribly when marriage and kids started being brought up.

First off, I highly doubt that the majority of muslim women would even be able to date without some massive religious interference. But hey, some are more liberal and the like. Then she'd have to put up with the fact that I do things like eat bacon and ham. Then we'd have the tiny issue of 'I'm not converting to islam' and I'm pretty sure that's, like, a mega-taboo.

So, ultimately, unless she was super-chill to the point where it seems that the vast majority of the islamic stuff doesn't apply, I don't think we'd even get past date 2 without some big problem. I don't see the point in putting in the work and effort for a relationship that basically has 'doomed to fail if you're not of the faith' painted on the side.

Well, I'm a pagan, so ... no, that ain't happening, I don't think. (Granted, I'm also married, but that's irrelevant to the question.) There's just so much in Islam as a religion that's antithetical to my own beliefs that I don't think we'd even have anything to talk about, much less use as a basis for dating. To be fair, though, it'd be the same way if I considered dating, say, a hardcore Christian, a Mormon, etc.

I did once have a crush on a Muslim girl, way back in ... middle school? High school? One of those. Smart, pretty, always top of the class in school. We got along okay, but her faith was always a big ol' elephant in the room, and the area in which we lived was (and still is) extremely conservative, to the point where she moved to Canada after 9 / 11 and never came back here. Can't say as I blame her. She's married with a kid now, making a living as a doctor up there. Good for her.

I basically used that as shorthand to say I didn't like Muslims, since it was a race-based topic and, as I just observed, Islam isn't a race.It's not all Arabs I dislike; just the vast majority of them, because of their terrible, backwards, hate-filled, darkness-enshrouded religion. If an Arab were a Christian, he'd be just fine by me.

I don't know where you're getting this from. The closest the Bible comes to condemning anal sex is male on male intercourse (which means it condemns gay anal sex). I'm not aware of any passage in the Bible which says you may not bang your wife in the butt. If you know of any such passage, please show me where it is.

I don't think anyone can say they "know" for sure what the Bible says. It has been translated numerous times and often communicates in symbolic fashion. Extremists who use it to hate on people who are different included.
