I have been using the same one for 6 years. I had two of them, the first one literally died in the humidity at Disney World.

The second one lasted much longer, until today when the charging port for the charger itself stopped working. So I think, ok, its a good charger, it costs like $25 and I get thousand upon thousands of hours of use out of it, so I'll buy a third one.

And then I log into amazon and find its been discontinued.

This is the product in question. It says a newer version is available, but it appears to be a very different line of product(And considerably less capacity).

I very much liked the one I have because it is essentially the same length and width as my phone(Galaxy S7), so its very unobtrusive in my pocket. Amazon kind of bombards me with a bunch of chargers I don't want, so if someone is able to help me out here that'd be great.

I have not used them but the PowerCore line seems to fit the dimensions you are looking for.

This is the slim version.

There is also a speed version that has quick charge 3.0 but it is a little fatter.

Im sure this isn't an issue, but to be perfectly thorough, you tried multiple different cables to ensure it was the device itself? Because I've been on the same power banks for ages but have run through a bunch of cables.

As far as shopping for a new one i just consider capacity and amperage relative to price.

Ill take a low amperage charger if its got a huge capacity so i can trickle charge devices over a longer period, but generally id prefer a smaller device with 2.1 amps for a speedy refill without feeling tied down.

Yep tried different cables. I run through a cable every month or two. I have lots of them.
