The first Lego movie was nothing but 90 minutes of bad jokes and general fast paced stupidity, which I lost several IQ points just by watching out of sheer curiosity.

I didn't see the Lego movie, but this one doesn't have a single writer or director from that movie. So I don't see why the jokes should be the same...

It really is a great movie. There is so many villains and since it's Lego, there was so much in it.
