I mean the post is literally bragging about a crime committed when drunk, hence the fine. It's more that it is given a pass because alcohol was involved.

Yeah, mainly because if you did enough cocaine to pass out on the train, it's because your fucking heart exploded.

You should probably tackle a book before you do anything else.

Ok ok consider this, it's friday night, my flatmates want to go out clubbing, 9pm they say come on Wilson (that's me), we're doing pre drinks, pre drinks consists of doing shots and playing drinking games until it's late enough to go out, it gets to 10pm we've already dranken quite a bit, we leave the house into the freezing cold, we walk 15 minutes to the club, we queue for another 30 minutes, by this point we've sobered up quite a bit, we enter the club, it's overcrowded, we go to the bar order some overpriced jagerbombs and start getting to work, we dance for a couple of hours, spend an obscene amount of cash, inevitably someone always gets lost during the night, for a couple of hours, there are no worries, i get to forget about the impending sense of dread as deadlines approach, the fact that i'll be finished with uni in a year, the worry that i'm not using the time here to it's full potential and as a result am both squandering my time now and squandering my future opportunities, the next day is wasted also as you nurse the hangover and lounge around all day, afraid to check your bank account, at least one person usually throws up.
