You get STAB for the best priority move in the game (Extremespeed) and immunity to ghost attacks, which makes for a great switch in to a Shadow Sneak spamming Mimikyu.

Not really. Extreme Speed isn't a common move to begin with and only Arceus and Linoone learn it as normal types.

I always liked Electric and rocked a shiny Manectric that I spent ages breeding for. Had ice-type Hidden Power too.
