Philadelphia's police commissioner, Richard Ross who is BLACK himself has DEFENDED his officers for arresting 2 black men at starbucks because they didn't order anything!!

Videos of the arrest has caused outrage showing the men at a downtown starbucks being arrested. A white man in the video is heard saying he was meeting with the men and called it "ridiculous"

Richard Ross said that Starbucks employees called 911 to say the men were "trespassing". The cops were told that the men came in and asked to use the restroom but were denied since they haven't bought anything. When they refused to leave, that's when they were arrested

Ross said police asked them to leave 3 times before refusing and then were arrested but later released as starbucks elected not to prosecute

He said the officers "did absolutely nothing wrong" and were "professional" in their conduct. Ross said "As an african american male, i am very aware of implicit bias; we are committed to fair and unbiased olicing. if a business calls and they say that someone is here that i no longer wish to be in my business, officers now have a legal obligation to carry out their duties and they did just that"

Social media users were outraged and are calling for a boycott.
