I think Microsoft is moving to a Games as Service model, so console "generations" will be less defined.

Right now with graphics cards so over priced its difficult to make a decnt PC for less cost than a One X or a PS4 pro unless you really know what you're doing and can find great deals on all the parts to build your own pc.

Can't stand PC gaming and PS4 doesn't have all the games Xbox has. Nor does it have all my friends or nearly as much backwards compatibility. Controller is weaker too.

there's no reason to get one if you have a pc or even a ps4 at this point. sony/nintendo lock down exclusives and multi-plat games are usually best on pc

I tried to have an xbox one but I had a ps4 and ended up playing basically the same games I can already play on PS4. If Halo MCC wasn't terrible I'd probably be playing it right now but alas, its collecting dirt. I mean I was gonna buy Fallout 4 on it for mods, then remembered that I barely play Fallout 4 on PS4 after I beat it
