I thought so as well, but I enjoyed at the end we find out he was only just built up for Season 2. Really love this show, I wish more people would watch it

yep. A few of the episodes show where he lives/works so if you just google that town and serial killer he pops up. The actor looks exactly like the real guy too.


And yeah, it's for sure BTK, unless they're going to swerve us and have their own made up killer

I do very much like the theory that Holden is a narcissist who is going to slip into becoming a serial killer as he strives to understand them. But if he does, it won't be into that particular man.

They knew from the start they were going to get 2 Seasons, so they set up the detectives and sprinkled in the real big bad of the show and we'll get that in Season 2. I like it

Yeah, unless it gets a third season (it might have, I don't know) I'm thinking they might go down the True Detective/Viking Rout and do a time jump. I'd rather have a third season, and build him up in Season 2
