For the past couple of weeks, I've had this feeling where everyone I talk to, look at, etc isn't real. I work in a warehouse that stores medical records and when I'm going to retrieve a chart, I start to get this weird sensation that I don't exist; everything seems foggy or an out-of-body experience feeling and I also start thinking, "What if I'm dreaming right now and about to wake up" or "Maybe I'm dead or I don't exist." This also happens at home, stores, etc.

Maybe I'm crazy, lacking sleep or maybe some kind of anxiety/panic attack dealing with the public. When I drive to and from work, the problem isn't really there since I'm very attentive to the road. I've only been getting about 6 hours a sleep a night and thinking about taking Melatonin, but I have high blood pressure and always been told to not take Melatonin because of it. I had a conversation with a co-worker today and as I was talking to them, I started getting that foggy feeling that everything around me didn't exist. I just wish this feeling would go away because it scares me and that makes it worse.

It happens to me from time to time, when I have alot going on.

The rapper Logic recently came out that he struggles with the same thing. His interview about it was cool

Yeah, it's an experience that I've had on several occasions. It's a brief but profoundly disturbing sensation when it happens. I can empathize, but I'm afraid I can't offer much insight as to causes -- except to suggest that it is possibly linked to panic attacks, which I've also suffered from.
