For the past couple of weeks, I've had this feeling where everyone I talk to, look at, etc isn't real. I work in a warehouse that stores medical records and when I'm going to retrieve a chart, I start to get this weird sensation that I don't exist; everything seems foggy or an out-of-body experience feeling and I also start thinking, "What if I'm dreaming right now and about to wake up" or "Maybe I'm dead or I don't exist." This also happens at home, stores, etc.
Maybe I'm crazy, lacking sleep or maybe some kind of anxiety/panic attack dealing with the public. When I drive to and from work, the problem isn't really there since I'm very attentive to the road. I've only been getting about 6 hours a sleep a night and thinking about taking Melatonin, but I have high blood pressure and always been told to not take Melatonin because of it. I had a conversation with a co-worker today and as I was talking to them, I started getting that foggy feeling that everything around me didn't exist. I just wish this feeling would go away because it scares me and that makes it worse. --- Currently Playing: Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age Waiting On: Shenmue III, Dragon Quest XI, REmake 2 ... Yeah, it's an experience that I've had on several occasions. It's a brief but profoundly disturbing sensation when it happens. I can empathize, but I'm afraid I can't offer much insight as to causes -- except to suggest that it is possibly linked to panic attacks, which I've also suffered from.
