About half of the women Ive been with have been taller than me, my wife included. I've never had an issue with attracting women. My height isnt even something I think about until I see topics like this, lol.

Then you must be a smooth operator or have a number of good qualities IMO.

I'm not saying it's impossible for shorter people to find women, but it is more difficult.

I think guys in general worry about it too much. Women dont want a guy that is hideous, but a good personality, being in shape, etc is more important to women than height. At least in my experience.

I think if a girl gets to know a guy organically and comes to like him, she can be very flexible on all of those attributes if there is a connection.

But in the online dating world, which is where I met this girl, those guys won't even get that chance.

Yeah, in general women tend to be more flexible on physical appearance than men. But a dating profile is just numbers and such, so that makes sense.

The girls always told me those dudes never really had a chance in the long-term, but them being so nice kept them around for a while before the ultimate heartbreak.

I'd think this was just a weird girl or two, but I've heard stories similar to this so many times that it's definitely not a rare thing.

I think it depends a lot on your location, too. They aren't that bad in small towns, like where I live. Big city girls may be a bit more demanding.

I live right outside of Boston. I've always been the shortest guy around and my guy friends have always made a point to give me shit about (which I always found funny, and I gave it right back, I dont get offended by much) but in terms of women, I mean I have never gotten with like a 6 foot chick, but most the women I am attracted to are about my height or shorter anyways.

At least from my experience, this mentality is pretty common. I used to work at a car dealership and I'd often have customers tell me they try to buy only larger cars because otherwise the car would be difficult for them to get in and out of. Often times these people would be smaller than me and I'm 6' and pretty thin. I wonder if it's just a really bizarre way of compensating.

You can't force them to be attracted to shorter guys, just like how most guys will not find a fat girl attractive. The only problem I have is that there's a clear double standards when it comes to making fun of fat or short people. It's look down upon to make fun of fat people (which the majority have control over) and it's consider perfectly okay to make fun of guy's height (which is something that we have no control over). In my opinion, it's either both are okay or none of it is okay.
