I was hit with a trolling moderation a few days ago because the topic was just a "rumour" and that it was proven false..although that wasn't proven until AFTER the fact which i tried arguing for.

But one of the moderators said that dailymail is "tabloid nonsense" and that i shouldn't post "conspiracy theories" from the site..although i wouldn't call it conspiracy theory as it was something to go on based on witness testimony.

I got the impression that they're saying that i shouldn't link to dailymail anymore because it's "fake news"...

I think it's odd that we refer to things that never existed in print format as tabloids, as tabloid is literally just a print format with regards to the paper length and how text and images are printed on it.

because 60% of people don't actually read entire articles and would rather get the gist of it. by doing this, it forces you to read it since it's right in front of you rather than having to be linked to something you'll unlikely read all the way anyway
