Dont get me wrong I do like Robert Rodriguez, but Escape from New York doesnt need a remake, its perfect the way it is. Either way Dredd's return to the screen is long over due. Edit: Did a search after this to see if there's anything about a potential series, and it's apparently happening. Mega City One in development with the studio apparently talking to Karl Urban to reprise his role as Dredd.
