I've got a question about returning games and the buy 2 get 1 free coupon/sale thing.

Say there's 3 games that I want but they're being sold in different stores.

Store A has games 1 and 2

Store B has games 2 and 3

All of them are pre-owned and cost the same.

Is it possible to buy Game 1 at Store A, head over to Store B, RETURN it, and then REBUY it along with Games 2 and 3, and make use of the B2G1 coupon?

I've got a coupon that's about to expire and I kinda don't wanna waste it.

Just have one call the other stores, get the games shipped to the one store and then do the b2g1. It shouldn't be a problem for them to do it.

However, the method you posted would work.

Alright that sounds good. I'll do my plans first, and if it doesn't work, I'll try your method.

How long would it take for games to get shipped from store to store?

The two stores I'm looking at are around 10 miles apart, if that makes a difference.

It would probably take a day. However, if there's an employee down for it, they could hand carry the games to a close store. They would be on the clock and get paid mileage.

Looks like I have a couple of backup plans now. Thankfully, my coupon doesn't expire until next week so I have a bit of leeway if I had to wait.

Bought Witcher 3 GOTY Edition at one store and went to another store to get Twilight Princess HD, and Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE. Used the b2g1 coupon and a special 20% off birthday coupon I didn't even know I had.

Managed to save $47 according to the receipt.
