Although my boss randomly gives me extra pay sometimes, my salary hasn't increased in 4 years while all of my expenses have gone up.

Yeah it is, especially since I've worked several shitty jobs that didn't give a fuck in my professional life. Hence the reason I'm not there any longer.

I've managed to earn an average of 10% increase in pay anually for the last five years at my job, which is well above the norm or what you'd call the "cost of living" increase.

I guess I cant complain. I used to work at places that would give you 3% and act like it was doing you a favor.

Annual but I got a bullshit "marginally effective" rating this year (which they don't tell you when you do your performance review 3 months earlier).

My organization is moving to Mesa AZ and I have stated I don't want to go or get another job in the company, lay me off come October.

Oops. Misread my manager. Since I wasn't going to keep working, why give me a raise? Then came up with bullshit reasons to justify.

13 year career.
4 Exemplary (highest) - 6-8% raise
6 Highly Effective (2nd highest) - 3.5-6% raise (number of factors, local labor market, company health, etc.)
2 Effective (one justified, other unjustified which lead to me leaving the group). 2.5-3.5%
1 Marginally effective. 0%

I mean... You've said you're leaving. Why should they give you a raise?

A little less often than once a year on average. They tend to be between 2 and 4%. Not helpful. Doesn't even cover increase to my rent each year.

Most important part of it is actually the bonus. Effective bonus would have been ~$25k. Marginally effective ~$12k. And both are to be for the past years work, not future performance.

We typically get it twice a year, 2-3% each time. I got a promotion last period, and got a 20% increase that time. Shit was sweet.

Standard 2% raise after my yearly performance review.

Of course I offset that by job hopping every 2 years or so which always gives me an extra ~$15k.

3-5% yearly but the real money is crushing the bonus. Base 25% of yearly at 100% of goal with a 200% potential.

I get a dollar raise on my start date anniversary every year. Some years I get another dollar or two later as well. I've gotten $9 per hour in raises in a little less than 5 years.

If I feel like I'm taking on more than is fair, I just ask for more money and they give it to me. Sometimes, other departments talk me up when I help them. I just find a raise on my next pay check without asking.

I work for a growing family owned company so my pay grows when they do better.

My employer has an annual review process that's tied into our merit increase. My direct manager gives me a review with a score and then submits my proposed merit increase to HR and I get as much as the budget allows. So I get one raise per year. It's been as high as 10% and as low as 3%, but I've gotten something every year for the last ~13 years.
