Seriously, if you are a girl they are great. But if you are a guy, you are expected to take scraps from all of the average looking girls and jump through hoops for mediocrity. I only ever dated one skinny girl, and she was someone that I asked out in real life. If I ever have to be single again, I'm not going back to those. The only purpose they serve, if you are a guy, is getting female friends so that you can get even with your girlfriend for having guy friends.

Not really, you just have to understand that the average woman is going to have 20 or so messages to filter through everytime they login. Takes some creativity but even average guys can succeed in online dating if they can stick out enough.
