They keep talking about this guy from the 70's the Golden State Killer and how cops are closing in on figuring out who it is. But they keep reporting on the ways cops are tracking the killer down which makes the killer know how to stay out of their radar. if the killer is watching HLN he knows what to do. today they mentioned trophies from each victim. so today the killer is probably throwing them away after seeing the report so cops don't find them

this is actually a tactic police use to lure serial killers out, actually.
