some of you may know i used to make let's play videos. i had around 300 subscribers, which isn't a lot at all, but i was proud of it. i was also like 16 at the time and my humor was pretty teenaged. i think i'd be able to do that sort of thing a lot better nowadays.

i dunno if those sorts of videos are super big these days though. the videos that are just playing through a game seem to have moved to streaming on twitch. which is fine but i don't really like the live nature of it. i like to edit my stuff to make sure it's tight.

how can i become a youtube star, potd. what do the people want to see

Who knows? Everything I hate about youtube gamers seem to be the very things that make them popular. Like having a fake, forced personality, overreacting to every situation, and having a superfluous intro on every video.

I think you can become moderately popular just by having a genuinely likable personality. I generally find "youtube stars" to be fake and obnoxious.
