She identified herself as an Iranian activist as well as an animal rights activist. Shortly after she was identified, photos of her holding signs with anti-YouTube messages were found online and shared.

According to her website, a possible motivation for the shooting could have been tied to her many YouTube accounts, which she says have seen a decline in viewership over the past few months.

i still wanna know how she got in, how she got in with a gun, and what relationship she had there, if any. but at the very least one of her motives would be demonetization. this is seriously shaping up to be one of the craziest outliers in a shooter we've had. i fear of copycats in a way but i'm not sure what copycat can measure up to this level.

For a well regulated militia, yes. If you want to form one, have your guns.

And a gun ban certainly makes it harder to kill more than one or two people.

Doesn't matter because the mere presence of firepower among the people, even untrained as yourself, provides a serious enough risk to oppressive agents. Skill is important if you yourself want to live, but in the aggregate purpose of the 2nd amendkent, public skill isn't THAT important.

Compromise really is the only solution. A simple compromise would be that over the next 36 months, every gun owner in the US will be visited by the secret service who will attempt an assassination. If the gun owner is rad enough to survive, they get to keep their guns. Otherwise they die and their property is auctioned off to illegal immigrants (to appease the librals). By the end of this process everyone should be happy.
