Because people feel better when experts share their opinion.

I don't remember when was the last time I watched/read a review of a game.
I just watch gameplay videos, preferrably with no commentary or commentary that just explains some things, without any opinions.

So basically good games can only win if they're high selling console exclusives. Bad games, however, don't have this requirement and can win as long as they're AAA games.

You're saying being a good game is detrimental because it imposes a second condition in order to win.
