i've completely skipped this season of walking dead. the last ep I watched was the first time negan came and fucked up ricks base and had one of his group members in a coffin. thinking of picking it up again though, should I just skip the first half? Anything significant happen? if there isn't much feel free to spoil here so I can save a good six hours of my life >_>
ps i don't count dumb pew pew gun battles between human groups as something significant, thats sorta why I tuned out because there was too much of that.

Skip the first 8 eps. It drags so bad. Watch from ep 9 on and you'll be caught up in no time.

I'd say give episode 5 a chance, honestly. It's the breather of 8A lol (And a situational type for 2 characters) but isn't bottled into just that moment. So you'd probably get some info on the war stances. Then 9 you go and on. 8B is srsly consistent as fuck.

First episodes of an expected war was..... expected lots of shooting

If you absolutely hate Negan or Gab, then skip episode 5 lol
