I've been living in Vegas for over 20 years. If you get scammed on the strip it's your own damn fault. The biggest scam is paying "club promoters" for club access.

I stopped someone from "donating" for a shitty CD, buying a fake gold luck charm from some guy dressed like a monk and paying to go to a strip club.

The fake gold was already in the ladies hand and he was telling her it was hers now and she owed him like 20 dollars. I literally took it from her hands, put it on the floor and ushered her away from him. It was like she couldn't tell him no for some reason.

Those "monks" sometimes have more nefarious intentions. Those charms are basically badges for easily scammed people. They usually work in groups.

That I did not know. I'm very glad I stopped it then. At first I felt a little bad because who am I to stop someone's hustle but she looked like she wanted to say no and was saying she didn't want it but couldn't actually say no.

Lol. You're ignoring the fact that these scammers are IN Vegas, and you're victim blaming. As for standing in the middle of the sidewalk-you don't own it. If they're visiting and trying to take it all in, that's their right. You should've learned how to navigate through crowds if you planned to live in one of the most visited cities in the country.

I do agree with you about the escalator part, though. I think that's just because some people have no self-awareness and/or are selfish, self-centered jerks who dgaf about others. Those people are everywhere, though, so it's not exclusive to big towns.

I don't live in Vegas. I also do fine navigating crowd. I'll walk around or through people. Doesn't mean they're not xxxxxx for stopping and loligagging. Get out of the way if you want to stop, stay to right, don't he a nuisance.
