Princess Peach hasn't won a single match in her career after coming out of this match alive. Odd.

Mega Man's contest debut and he killed Ms. Pac-Man in a 90-10 blowout.
Ms. Pac-Man scored only 5,257 votes in the match. 63,039 people rather voted in favor for Mega Man.
Mega Man becoming a popular character not to be taken lightly after this match, years later.

Bump

Discovering that Mega Man is a force in these contests was one of my fondest memories of 2002. The Ms. Pac-Man match was pretty good for that, but Serious Sam was even better because it was somehow a seeding upset.

That said the Peach/Jill match was pretty epic so it has my vote.
