I'll take a nibble and express my displeasure for how "under God" was shoehorned in during the Cold War. No matter one's personal beliefs, I figure above all else, we are one nation indivisible, standing for liberty and justice. Doesn't matter where it comes from; those are virtues anyone can and should believe in.

I lived in a border town growing up, and we had Mexican kids in class. Having them pledge felt...forced and awkward.
