Example: I'm having a break from uni getting my bachelor's degree in nursing. I have a bit more than one semester left.

At the moment, I don't want to study, and I'm unsure if I want to even finish and become a nurse. But I dunno if it's what I truly want, or if it's just a reaction from me, afraid to not being able to do it etc and then avoiding it.

I honestly don't know. And that makes me feel even worse.

I dunno. I think I'm afraid I can't handle it. Maybe it's not really worth it. Maybe I want to do something else. I dunno.

Unless you have a solid, concrete reason as to why you don't want to do it, it's probably avoidance.

People may die if I have a bad day at the job.

That's what all the training and schooling is for. To prevent that. Besides, "I don't think I can put forth the effort to try and bring my A game to work every day. " isn't a solid concrete reason. That's just aversion.
