Honestly I just went through something like this. I proceeded to just relax, let our relationship play itself out, and sat with my emotions one day and they subsided. I'd imagine it would last longer if I kept chasing fantasies or overthought our conversations.

You'll get over her. It takes time. Just don't fight it and become bitter.

She didnt do anything bad to me, Im thinking about her a lot because I feel like I have a good chance of ending up with her. Im just tired of feeling like a simpleton all the time though.

I'm on a similar boat. There's this girl who I keep having recurring dreams about (must be about 10 now, or more). We went to school together, but she always treated me with disdain for reasons I do not know.

I don't have her on social media so I'm pretty stuck thinking about her.

This, nice and simple. Although if the feelings are particularly strong, sometimes the second option is the only way. There was one girl who I just could not seem to get over. It had been almost a couple years since we talked, but she still kept creeping back into my thoughts and I'd feel all that regret, wondering what might have been, etc. Then I got a bit of a crush on a new girl and we ended up dating. Suddenly it didn't seem to bother me at all, I found peace with it. I still think about her once in a while, but I focus on what good memories we do have and definitely hope that she's doing great now. I don't have any interest in communicating with her again. Just wish her the best.

So yeah, we've all been there (well, mostly). We've all felt pathetic and weak like that before over at least one girl. Best thing I learned is that if a girl really wants you, she'll let you know for sure. Otherwise it's best to just move on, you're wasting your time trying to win the attention of a girl who will never actually want you no matter what you do. She's probably pining after some other guy, so all you'll ever be is a backup or someone to pump her tires and make her feel good when she's not at her best. That's what happened to me, lol. Never again.

The thing is though I'm not really bitter about it because I actually think I have a shot, but it's just annoying that this girl is on my mind all the time. Especially since I'm on Spring Break and not doing shit so I'm pretty much alone with my thoughts.

Make an online dating profile and talk to other women. Easiest way is to move on to the next lady. So I'm told anyhow.
