Grew out of politics in general pretty early. Was quite into it for a while but then I realized, they don't really give a fuck about the people or the country or the ideology they happen to push. They just care about power and that goes for all politicians - democrats or conservatives.

I learned the difference between the two in seventh grade civics during the 2000 election. Our homework was reading and summarizing newsweek's coverage of the race. By the semester's end, I'd gone full democrat (mostly on grounds of fairness as it related to the two candidates tax plans). I've pretty much never looked back.

Oh, so this is a spoof on the old, "When did you grow out of liberalism?" with the same punchline being regurgitated but the lead-in changed? I'll rate it a 2/10

Middle school or so. Early life wasn't helped by half of my family being full of racist hicks. Thankfully my dad's side of the family is pretty well educated and I turned out ok.

I don't think I was ever 'conservative', but I grew up in a community, ultra-religious, Jehovah's Witness environment. I mimicked many of their beliefs until I was like twelve or thirteen when I realized most of their rhetoric was based off logical fallacies and grandiose illustrations rooted in ridiculous premises.
