Topic.

In the United States:
Say every single Republican moved to one side of the country and every single Democrat moved to another side of the country. 3rd party people were randomly, and evenly, distributed between these two countries.

Which country would be more rich and powerful?

Ummm, no. Most major companies that provides actual content and service are run by democrats. Republican leaders are usual financial company CEOs. The democratic country can basically block republican country from investing in their stocks and the rich republicans would come crashing down.

Republican country would basically be overrun by pedophiles, mass shootings, civil war, huge economic gap between the rich and poor where the poor will basically rise up and overthrow the government, it would be anarchy.

Basically would you rather be in a country with California, NY, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Chicago, Illinois, Minnesota, or would you rather be in a country with Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Kansas, Wyoming, the Dakotas, the Carolinas, Georgia.

lmfao.

You're missing Texas, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and New Jersey, which are in the top 10 of state GDP.

Penn voted democrat for 6 elections straight before Trump. Pretty sure they'll vote democrat again if its anyone other than Hillary.

Ohio voted for Obama twice.

New Jersey is also a blue state.

This just helps my case that blue states > red states.

I wasn't trying to tip the favor one way or another; just not sure why you picked the states you did and left out the "more fiscally contributing" states.

to highlight the point that most red states are low-end not good states and most blue states are high-end great states.

The Democrat country would be too busy fighting about pronouns, religion, and race issues while the Republican one would probably only be white Christians with similar views. A lot hinges on the cultural stability the first finds and the economic stability the second does. Whoever makes their respective thing work better will be the winner.

Are we splitting by red and blue county, or state? If we split it by county, the blue areas would be the high crime, high tax, high regulation areas and the red areas would be the low cost of living areas.

Just look at the red states vs the blue. The most conservative states tend to have the lowest levels of income. Look at places like the south, Kansas, West Virginia, Kentucky, etc. Those are some of the poorest areas in the country and also the most conservative. Literally the only thriving red state is Texas.

The blue states would have it better and it's not even close. It's tough to say how the purple states would be, although I'd think they'd be ok too.

This ignores the Republicans inside of blue states, though. They would be leaving the blue states.
