Happens all the time with Amazon for me. Free 5-10 day shipping usually gets here within 2-3 days.
Walmart ships pretty fast too.
Other places are within estimated times though.

Ive only ever had it happen with Amazon. Its not common for me though and I can only think of two times that its happened.

Everything that I've ever ordered on Amazon ends up getting here way earlier than intended.
I've only had one instance where something took awhile but that was because the mail person on that route was switching around or something and there was a lot of complaining involved and I had to go up to the post office itself.

It really depends on what it is. A lot of local Amazon warehouses will have your stuff but if you're shipping from far, it'll rarely be early.

Have ordered shit an ocean and a continent away and had it show up well early.

Only time it went bad was when shipping a set of motorcycle forks down south to get worked on.

Literally lost. 2300 bucks in forks, lost.

Showed up about 3 weeks later.
