Somewhere between options 2 and 3 for WWE, thanks to a certain "big dog" in the spotlight. Option 1 for pro wrestling as a whole, because NJPW and Lucha Underground are both fantastic and I'm a huge fan. ROH is great and I might follow them more in the future as well, and (believe it or not) even Impact Wrestling is improving quite a bit.

WWE may be struggling, but I don't think the world of pro wrestling as a whole has ever been as entertaining as it is right now.

also super pissed I was tuned out for the entire CM Punk and Daniel Bryan years, but I'm glad I still have AJ Styles and Jeff Hardy should be back soon!

Lost interest in it years ago, but I've no problem with others still enjoying it. When it's done right it's an incredible form of performance entertainment.

Used to be a fan. My tastes in wrestling have changed somewhat. I'd rather have more realistic (in the context of pro wrestling) and serious wrestling. WWE is way too goofy and obviously phony. Wrestling in general is that way. Everyone is too busy making fun of wrestling and doing Cirque du Soleil routines instead of wrestling. WWE has those problems along with also being to overproduced, clean, and corporate so there's also no edge to it and it seems sterile. I'll still watch old stuff on youtube though.

I started watching as a kid and used to love it, but the quality has declined steadily since then. It got to a point where I was only watching because I kept hoping it would get better. But I eventually realized it was never going to get better--I either had to accept it for what it was or stop watching. I chose the latter.

Started in the late 80's, stopped for a while in the early 90's watched the Attitude Era/Monday night wars, stopped for a while, then watched for a while in the late 00's, early 10's, but it's been 4 years since I've last watched, and I'm not interesting in ever returning. All of my faves are retired. I did watch this years RR/WRR though, and I didn't really see anyone that would make me want to come back and watch. Asuka's cool though.

You sound like someone who would really like New Japan Pro Wrestling. There's tons of great wrestlers like Kazuchika Okada and the matches/feuds are taken much more seriously than in WWE. Sure, there's some "flippy shit" guys like Will Ospreay here and some oddballs like Hiromu Takahashi, but overall, it's a more serious wrestling product than WWE has been in recent years.

I never could really get into puro. I just never liked that style much. The recent stuff I've seen from them is ok, but not something I'd go out of my way to watch. I appreciate what they do, but it's just not for me. I'm an old NWA/Mid-South/Memphis/WCW kind of guy.

Used to be a fan during the attitude era. These days I will very casually follow what's going on but I'm not really invested.

Last year I watched royal rumble, wrestlemania, and summer slam. I haven't watched anything this year but will probably watch wrestlemania in a couple weeks.

Not an American and I could never comprehend how could anyone find that shit entertaining for extended periods of time.
Especially when people get heated about it.

People get heated because professional wrestling is like a live comic book. The guys have (usually) really defined characters and they go through arcs from time to time. They go from good to bad, and all of this usually over the course of several years to a decade or more.

Naturally, people get invested in the characters they like, and want to see how their arcs and stories turn out.

Im usually busy when it comes on and they took the reruns off TV in favor of their WWE Network, which I dont care enough about to buy.

Not interested in it at all, but I don't judge it or its fans and I respect it for what it is and can see the entertainment value of it even though it's not for me.
