The logic that ports of old games is the only possible way to get games on the console is the dumbest shit I've heard all week, honestly.

Uh no? That logic is even dumber than what you said before. Nintendo wouldn't reach PS4/Wii levels of success if from now on they just ported old games. Full stop with that dumbassery. They've been porting a lot so there is room to call them out for it whether you like it or not. And don't backtrack on your former point just because it was dumb as all get out. They could very much do much more than they're doing, and many people hope they do and that will just come with time I guess. But frustrations can be spoken with good reason.

And please stop with this grade school level fanboy shit @ForestLogic. I have over 40 Switch games and I spent well over a grand on the system in its first year from accessories to controllers to games (and I actually bought TWO Switches at that). So don't even try that petty crap with me. I love the Switch, but ports have obviously been a problem recently. I don't know what the hell is wrong with you that you feel the need to get so up in arms about defending owners getting older games. Fanboyism is one hell of a drug.

Pretty excited for Banner Saga 3. Sadly I played the first one on the PC so I might have to see how that works out in terms of playing the 2nd and 3rd one on the Switch, though tbh I didn't really care too much for the choices I made I think. There are too many characters that you don't spend enough time with.

Ports can indeed become problematic when they obscure and delay new releases. Your reading comprehension seems to be absolute shit, but when 70% of your upcoming "big" releases are ports of some kind, clearly those ports are becoming an intrusion. Especially when they're more expensive than their original releases and barely have any new content. So anyone who has played those has to repurchase the same game at a bigger asking price, or wait half a year until the next actually NEW release.

Don't know how someone with even as narrow and small of a mindset as you can't see something so simple.
