Funny that people simultaneously say that buffets are a waste of money because you dont eat enough to make it worth it but also that you tend to overeat at buffets

I tend to just eat meat at buffets. But yeah.

I kind of got turned off by it though when I went to one and the bacon was diseased and I wound up puking my guts out for two days.

Sort of, I tend to be a slow eater and overfill my plate so I end up skipping dessert and just settle for basic things like ice cream.

now, i get like 2 plates, with small portions of food, and i'm done.

I just ate at a buffet today, had 2 plates, not overloaded or anything. Jeez though, I couldn't even finish it all. That was over 8 hours ago and I still haven't gotten hungry or wanted a snack since. There must've been something incredibly filling.

Got a bit sidetracked there, but I try not to over eat at buffets. I try to get my money's worth without just being rude or taking advantage. I'll just eat till I'm satisfied and stop. Thought I was going to burst today though after a second helping.
