I would agree that's probably because it became fairly mainstream due to broadcasts like Toonami. Personally Princess Mononoke was the last good anime. Ghibli Studios does some popular stuff but I'm mostly not a fan of their style. Mononoke being the exception. --- I think I need a drink.
