I suppose all that really matters though is that you're happy and don't feel you've missed out on living your younger years. I certainly feel I missed out on a few things during my teens/20's but it's never to late to fix that unless I'm dead I guess. As far as being married, having kids, or living with family - I mean, you can give or take any of those. A lot of people get married and have kids and are not financially or emotionally ready.
