Conceptually nothing, but MGTOW as a community is a victim complex group with zero intellectual credibility, so the stigma quickly attaches to people who self-identify as MGTOW. It often runs in like with genuinely misogynistic movements.

Similar to how MRAs on paper are entirely fine until you notice their movement is infested with bitter and angry weirdos who have grudges.

I wouldn't automatically judge a self-identified MGTOW or MRA as a misogynist but I'll admit I wouldn't be surprised if that happened to ultimately be an accurate assessment.

No. Im sure there are exceptions, but I disagree that in practice feminists are working to address any of the concerns that men have about the negative aspects of their role and status, as you would expect in a supposedly feminist society.

Go to a serious feminist website, blog or conference and bring up the issue of disparities in child custody arrangements, workplace safety, mental health and especially suicide, false rape accusations, law enforcement bias in domestic violence cases and so forth. And also ask why there is a massive push for women to take over STEM-related fields, but all you get is crickets chirping quietly when careers in construction, custodial work, mining and other dangerous and often labor-intensive jobs are discussed. You will be given reluctant lip service at best or mocked, treated with hostility and possibly blocked from continuing the conversation at worst.

Again, it sounds good on paper, but there is a smokescreen put up to hide what some women dont want to have discussed, let alone changed.
