I am only pro choice as it controls population. I mean otherwise it is rather barbaric and much simpler to use protection, birth control pills, or not have sex.

So? I'm sure the chicken I had for lunch yesterday had even more of a desire to live.

Before about 4.5 to 5 months the fetus has no brain function. I see no moral issue with termination of such a pregnancy. Past this point, those were all wanted pregnancies and abortions only happen when medically necessary. Those are all tragedies for the mothers and fathers, and not something that should be rubbed in their faces.

Basically, not your fucking business at any point ever.

Based on my long-time experiences with a number of children, I am willing to say that no human under the age of at least 10 has anything resembling a sense of self-preservation.

Babies are pretty much trying to kill themselves 24-7/365. It's why adults have to spend all their time watching them to make sure they don't dive down the staircase head-first or drink a gallon of bleach.

So youre saying that people shouldnt have the option to abort their pregnancy if:

If it was conceived from a rape.
If the condom broke.
If the pregnancy is determined to cause future problems and threaten the mothers health.
If the pregnancy is determined to result in a child with a developmental and/or mental disorder.
Etc

Theres never just one shoe fits all for something as controversial for this. It just never works.

The mothers should always have the option to abort the child and it should be paid for by donations, contributions, fundraisers, gofundme campaigns, whatever - but not taxpayer money. Funding abortions with taxpayer money is a solution that wont appeal to everyone, no matter how loud they shout or how hard they stomp their feet.

People do realize that this is not a decision that most people take lightly, right? It a tough and emotional decision for most people.
