Amber and Heath Bertram from Georgia have pulled their 7 y/o daughter out of her elementary school after they watched her play a RACIST character in a student play..and she was the ONLY WHITE GIRL in that class!!

Anastastia was playing the role of a white child against school desegregation and took the microphone and yelled at black kids with "Go away, you don't belong here!" and held a sign that said "Go home!. Cursed is the man who integrates!"

Heath told Dailymail he was "shocked and appalled" when he saw his daughter playing a racist at Burnett Elementary School. He says "Other parents started looking at me. She is the only white girl in her class, ad one of the very few in the whole school. Giving her the position of a white supremacist at the age of 7 was unacceptable"

Amber was out of town but Heath took the video for proof and she was "literally speechless"

Amber was shaking and said "All i wanted to do was run to the school and ask them if they had lost their mind"

However, a black kid was also holding a sign that said "Go back to Africa!" who also played a "pretend white supremacist" against Ruby Bridges, the first black child to attend an all white elementary school in the US. Before Anastasia took the stage, he said in his part of the play "We don't want our white children going to school with a black girl"

Mrs Jamila James said that Anastasia VOLUNTEERED to cover the role of the another student and said "She really stepped up and saved the day"..but Amber was still livid because she wasn't contacted about this. She said she reached out to the teacher on a platform called ClassDojo and said that they teach her aughter to "help adults as much as possible" and that at 7 there was no way she could understood the position she was put in.

She didn't want her child portrayed in this way nor did she wanted it videotaped and said this play did nothing but perpetuate the idea of racism that teaches her child the school sanctions her discriminating against anyone who doesn't look like her

Jamila apologized stating it wasn't her intention to isolate or make a racial group feel bad

In the end, The Bertrams pulled both girls out of the school stating they don't feel their kids can stay in this environment as Amber said "If she were to go out onto the playground the following day and tell a child to go away because they were black, i can promise she would have been in trouble. But the school just put her on stage in front of her friends, teachers, peers and taught her it was okay"

Her transfer was approved and will go to a school that is "majority white".
