They are angry at the wrong thing is the problem, they should be bitching the police and feds out for failing to stop this nutcase.

It has been stated many times the police and FBI knew he was a threat but neither of them did anything to stop him.

Guns are not the problem, the police and feds not enforcing the laws we already have is the problem.

Its a lot of anti scocial people and people eho were bullied going off the deep end, something needs to be done to get these shut ins and friendless anti social people to get a sense of community and for them to make friends.

Bullied people also need an alternative way to deal with bullies cause going on a shooting spree is not the answer. The bullies need to be punished and people need to encourage fighting back not being a passive pussy.

people are mad that the kids are being taken seriously. being shot at doesn't mean they know all the ways of the world and laws. yea they may have some points but I think the media is giving them too much of a platform. I keep seeing CNN do interviews with these random 15 year olds and treating them like wise political experts. listen to what they say, but the kids can't control the world. and their opinions should just be a side consideration in the debate.

I dont get what youre saying here. Youre bringing up amendments and the Constitution, but only one side is actively trying to infringe the other sides rights. The students are speaking their mind and that is great. Keep in mind that their freedom of speech isnt being attacked just because some people are critical of them.

That's where you're missing what I'm talking about.

People can say the kids don't have the right idea or propose alternate solutions, that's all well and good. There ARE people attacking their free speech, though, by saying these kids shouldn't be speaking or be heard.

Yeah. There's this misconception that school shooters were just sad kids who got picked on for being nerdy until one day they snapped and killed everyone. They typically are aggressive, mean, often racist, unclean, and generally terrible to be around.

That doesn't mean they should then just be shunned forever until they do something drastic, but it IS a sign that something is probably pretty fucking wrong at home. The onus should then be on the adults at the school to do something, to take some sort of action. I'm not remotely comfortable saying that this school shooter epidemic is because the victims weren't nice enough to the sociopath that shot them.

Oh so passing the buck is your response, sorry but that shit is not acceptable, if the police and feds knew but failed to do anything then they are the ones who fucked up.

Not every shooter is suspected or known about, when they do know but fail to act people should hold them accountable not blame guns.

Look across the pond to Britain and all the other gun free places, they make do with bombs, knives, and vehicles.

They manage to have shit loads of murder, rape, and assaults without guns just fine. Guns are a tool not some evil device that so many ignorant people make them into.

BTW drunk drivers, and texters while driving kill way more people then shooters put together yet no one is saying ban cars. At most they make some new laws but the death rates do not decrease that much nor does anything stop drunk drivers
