What I can still say about Amazon is that they are pretty good at sending out replacement items or giving refunds without hassle. I just don't consider them the "lightspeed, no nonsense" company anymore. A lot of people are basically stuck being frustrated now while a lot of their stuff is in limbo and Amazon keeps bumping the ETA. A lot of times the ETA after I place an order changed from when I originally placed it, so I contact their help center to confirm that it'll make in time. They're really nice, because instead of just getting doing the minimum to meet the ETA, they'll upgrade it to overnight at no extra charge.
