There are some values I can empathize with

Pro-lifers for example. Personally Im pro-choice and think everyone deserves to make up their own mind about whether to get an abortion if the need ever unfortunately arises.

But from their point of view theyre saving babies from being murdered. I disagree with them and will continue to debate why I think it is better for everyone to have the freedom to make their own choice, but I cant really fault most of them for their view on the matter either

Abortion is one of the few political issues where both sides have plenty of merit. I don't consider myself either pro choice or pro life, Roe v Wade exists and needs to be followed but abortion is a barbaric practice in my opinion. To me, abortion should only be used as a last resort

I don't think many believe it's new. They're just adamantly against the legality of it. Whether some people want to admit it or not, a pro-life stance is consistent with a Christian worldview. Why anyone would expect them to be pro-choice is beyond me.

I agree that both sides have merit. I definitely believe that abortion should be allowed in certain circumstances, but find the blase attitude some people take towards it to be ridiculous.
