This honestly was a boring match. I only put it in here due to self pity for it being our very first finals.
This was our VERY FIRST FINALS match in Character Battle history.
Link was the inaugural winner of the very first Character Battle.

Magus/Knuckles is the fairly obvious winner, for historical context - but if there's anything this match taught us, it's to never take anything for granted.
