We're talking about the act of judging a group of people for their thoughts. I see no problem with not judging somebody because of their beliefs and thoughts. We judge actions. Believe whatever you want, but don't fuck other people over.

Honestly, I respect it when anyone says the words "i can't judge..." for just about anything. It's a sign of maturity, understanding, and respect. A wise man once said "walk a thousand miles in their shoes before judging that person." And the older I get, the more I realize he's right.

I'm not religious.

But what I've found is that following a lot of life lessons and practices that are taught in religious books are considerably helpful.

And remember, we are talking about judging people for their thoughts and beliefs. It's one thing to have thoughts and beliefs, and it's an entirely other thing to act upon them. That's why we tried and executed people for actually assisting in the holocaust and other war crimes, rather than everyone who was a Nazi supporter.

We were talking about the means by which we form our perceptions of others. Now... executing people. That escalated quickly.
