Yes. There are these people who live on the corner who are constantly blasting loud music, sometimes at 1 AM or later. When they aren't doing that they're in the middle of the street fighting. I miss when it was mostly older, quiet folk who lived on our street. Now it's mostly middle aged dope addicts.

Same problem here. A neighbor guy who lives alone is always thumping bass at around 3am before he leaves to work.

There's a neighbour of ours that teaches his son (10 years old) to be head of the household.

His mother asked my father to jump start her car and her son started yelling at her and completely throwing a tantrum. He was telling her that she had no business asking another man for help and that the action itself was bad. He kept doing angry gestures and shouting in the street and then decided to call his father for what I assumed was backup.

For anyone to teach a CHILD to disrespect his mother this way....they are brainwashing that child into thinking that women are below him and that their existence are based on his whims depending on the day.

Disgusting.

I believe it's always been the opposite. Most people always seem to like their neighbors. Either that, or you don't notice them. You usually only dislike them if they're causing trouble like the ones above.

Most neighbors I've had in my life are close family friends for the most part. Or we're at least very close friends to a degree. I think it could really depend on the community and stuff, though. That might play a part in it. And culture and what-not.

Nope. On one side we have a guy who locks his dog in the kitchen all the time so it barks while he's out and on the other we have foreigners who have kids who are always making noise and the oldest daughter(18) is constantly playing trash music. These are not reasons to hate them though and the foreigners are a lot better than the prostitute with two sons that used to be my neighbour until she set fire to the house.

Yeah, I live in a block of flats and while the vast majority of my neighbours are great people who respect others, the family that lives below me is so freakin' inconsiderate!

- DIY starting at 11pm and ending at 3am
- Complaining about me and my BF making noise when we weren't even home that day
- Scaring my cat away from the block by hissing and kicking in his direction

Fuck those guys with a capital F. I haven't done anything about it other than confront them (which went badly) because I don't know if I could live with myself if I complained to the council and got them evicted. I've been evicted myself before and it fucking sucks and the list of people that give a shit is a short one.

Other than those guys though, I have no complaints about my neighbours.

my neighbor is an old brown man. since he moved in he has invited his entire tribe to live with him. So my neighbor, who was friendly enough the first time I welcomed him to the cul-de-sac, is in fact a real f'ng a-hole from south of the border that thinks it's perfectly okay to have 35 people living in a three bedroom two bathroom little house

My one neighbor is outwardly nice but secretly judgemental. When having friendly conversations she'll randomly comment about something that's kind of rude.

I don't know my neighbors too well, but their arguing and loud music can be irritating, especially when I'm trying to sleep. Other than that, I have nothing against them.
