One of the things i constantly hear about guys when it comes to styles/looks is they have NO IDEA what to do with their hair. so in this edition, we will move over to the aesthetics side a bit.

First, I will say to find a good hair stylist. Not a hair cut chain place like super cuts, not a barber, a HAIRSTYLIST. These are the people that actually know what they are doing and have the tools to do what needs to be done (hint: it involves more than scissors).

Yes, these hairstylists cost a bit more, but it is worth it...your hair is essentially a fashion item you wear DAILY. Personally I pay my hairstylist $35 every visit (including tip).

Next up, I will say to increase the frequency of your haircuts. Most men get it cut every 5+ weeks...which is way too long between cuts. You don't ever want anyone to think you just got a haircut or you need a haircut. For this reason, I believe 3 weeks is the optimal time period between haircuts.

Yes, I spend $600+ on haircuts a year, but it is worth every penny.

Now, for the actual haircut. What I find looks good on the majority of men is the James Bond haircut:

Make it short on the sides, with a little on top that you can use some gel to style.

Tips:
-Looks like daniel craig wears his hair at a 1.5 or 2 on the sides...I personally like mine down to a 1 on the sides. (Like David Beckam here: https://imgur.com/a/e5vIk but without the beard and less on top)
-Make sure you ask your hairstylist to thin out the hair on the top, that way it doesn't look too "stacked".
-Buy some good gel that doesn't have a strong scent and has a very strong hold rating. Yes, this means buying a $20+ 2.7 oz bottle from a higher end brand than costco.

This is one of those cases, where if it's good enough for Bond, it's good enough for you!

True, but there are much better short hair style on men, IIRC that one style everyone made fun of because EVERY celebirty was doing it seems betternow that the mocking shit is over, cause that IS an alright style, it was just weird seeing ot on pretty much every single person alive on TV :P

people that can get laid have methods/techniques that are sub optimal, so they can still learn from it. people that can't get laid can attempt to put my pro tips to use or have their lives stay the same. i can't control whether or not people take my advice. either way it is still helpful and good advice.

aside from that, it is helpful for me to personally gather my thoughts and learn to write and teach them in a clear and concise method. i may move to teaching this stuff full time so it's a helpful process to me. although feedback could stand to be better, as i receive nothing but bashing instead of constructive criticism.

"Cut to one inch (or 1.5-2 if you have thick hair) with scissors on top in a choppy pattern, #1.5 on sides with a very sharp fade to the top, not gradated. Blunt across the back."

You should go to a stylist at least once. They can recommend a haircut that will work well with your particular features. They're professionals that put a lot of thought into this shit. They're not some dude on the internet that hasn't even seen what you look like.
