Me and my older brother got gold, and my littlr brother got silver
I remember him being disappointed cause the cartiave wasnt specially colored, though it was just hard to tell cause of silver and grey look similar.

Though now that i am older, thinking about it, if it wasnt specially colored it would have been black, not grey as it was a GBC/GB game, not a regular GB game.

I do remember playing a rom of gold before it came out in north america, dont really remember anything though, just names not matching offical english names

Pokemon Silver's carts were a little bit lighter than your standard grey GB cart, and they made it sparkly too, because metals. The difference is there but you definitely have to look for it, especially now that the sparkles are wearing off of those 18-year old carts.

Ckear cartridges were common thing for GBC exclusive titles (cant be used on old Game Boys)
