I'm not a fan of phones bigger than 5 inch screen, nor the battery dying so quickly

I don't care about top specs just being able to use Chrome/Maps/Spotify/Citymapper and the like without any slowdown

I'm thinking about an iPhone SE or perhaps one of those Chinese Android phones

My wife got an oppo a57 as a (relatively) cheap work phone and has no complaints. It's a tad on the big side but is pretty good from what I've seen in other regards. Battery seems to be good and while it's an android phone, it feels familiar to Iphones as well.
