The biggest thing was poor execution of the system(bulky, slow U.I, short range etc.) and shit advertising combined with terrible third party support, The lack of games was partly because the system landed with a dull thud. And the ports at least often do something to make them more appealing. I've held off on getting Stardew Valley and Yooka Laylee on the PC because the Switch is a much better console to play on A laptop is portable.
