Board 8 > Started playing Darksiders because I heard it was like Zelda

I didn't understand how it was like Zelda at first...then I got to the first dungeon, where I got the boomerang and used it and some bomb flowers to kill the boss. Which then rewarded me with the equivalent of a heart container.

Pretty fun game so far, though.

It also has a lot of chests with upgrades hidden around areas you revisit that are accessible with your new abilities. It's an awesome game. Need to play 2 at some point.

I loved the first.

The second is an atrocious pile of trash that has an insane amount of filler "content" and I felt ripped off even though I only spent 5 or 10 bucks on it.

The first half of 2 is a good bit better than the first. The last half just drags.

I really liked the first arc of 2. It felt a lot like Zelda to me, and the loot system was really addictive. But then I saw there were two more arcs and got bored of it.
