Just the Templars and Assassins fighing each other while slowly becoming aware of how dangerous Juno is.

- The Third Crusade fails.

However, the temporary revolutionary government was arguably worse than the monarchs and just as tyrannical, leading to what was basically a revolution against both the revolution and the monarchy that preceded it.
- The Victorian Age comes to an end around the time of increased industrialization and the encroaching threat of 'great wars'.
- Imperial China continues until the early part of the 20th century, where warlord factions divided the land. The emperor continued to exist while ideological factions (roughly modelled on the later Cold War factions) fought, with the communists eventually winning out.
- The October Revolution ends with the Bolsheviks winning, enforcing Communism, and creating Soviet Russia.
- The Sikh Empire falls after the death of their monarch causes an internal faction struggle that was taken advantage of by the British East India Company to establish British rule in India.
- The Ptolemaic Kingdom exists for a long ass time, before the death of Cleopatra and the conquest of Egypt by Rome.

I mean he basically summed it up right there.

- Desmond Arc is AC1 thru 3. He essentially trains himself an assassin, finds the truth of The Ones That Came Before, ends up trying to stop the end of the world prophesied by them but ends up dying as a result.
- AC4 thru Syndicate: Due to Desmond's actions, Juno (an evil One) has been revived and plans to enslave/destroy humanity (forgot which one) and decides to get herself into Abstergo's mainframe since they have such a huge influence in the modern world. Various employees testing Abstergo's Animus technology inadvertently help Juno in various steps to ensure her goal.

I'm not sure what happens in Origins.

If you remember the end of AC3, there were two precursors that were in the temple with desmond, Minerva (good) and Juno (bad) . Desmond could do the sacrifice thing and prevent the solar doomsday but Juno would be released from her quarantine (she exists only in digital form at the moment). Minerva was warning against it but Juno was like do eeet. Anyway desmond saves the world and Juno is freed. The modern day story is pretty piss-weak for the next few games, and not a lot has happened. but basically the modern day objective for the past few games has pretty much been "explore these memories to find an ancient relic because abstergo or the assassins need it". The whole Juno story has been taking place in the background though other media, and hidden-ish cutscenes/collectibles. She inhabited abstergo technology brought into the temple desmond died at, then piggy-backed her way into their main systems. They found out, couldn't do anything about it, but found they pretty much have the same ideals and formed an alliance. Now abstergo are trying to get her a physical body she can upload into. Anything further would probably be Origins spoilers.
