Sadly a lot of people buy into this rhetoric. Like mankind is going to suddenly stop being aggressive and warlike because some teens decide being an activist might get them laid or a good grade.

I think a big issue is these people don't believe in evil and think everything is just a matter of upbringing or social pressure

because if you believe that, then you can try to rationalize a fix for society to stop violence

if you believe that true evil exists...well you quickly realize you can't stop violence without severely limiting the freedom of every single person...even then you probably can't stop it.

Grew up with Mortal Kombat, GTA III, Metal Gear Solid, Goldeneye 64... these kids nowadays are weak if they're easily influenced by a game.
